I’m finally giving the people what they want- literally no one is asking for this. It’s midnight bitches, and by the time I post this it’ll probably be closer to 1 am (future me: truuue). Why do I do this to myself? The real question is why wouldn’t I- just kidding, this is fucking dumb. I needed to post today (aka an hour ago, but time is all an allusion man, time is manmade) and I totally get that this is no longer today because the whole midnight ish, but I’m doing it anyways because I have to make up for my missed post earlier this week! (everyone in unison: we’ll settle for nothing, really, please stop) I’m doing this!
Also, I ate Taco Bell (because I’m a healthy bish) like half an hour ago and shout out to the drive thru dude who gave me a free tortilla because he couldn’t figure out where it was on the system. To bf: you thought they were cheap before, now look at me. And yes, I do order just tortillas because I don’t trust Taco Bell- except their fake nacho cheese is fucking everything (I got nachos too, but he found those on the system perfectly fine..). My order was freaking $1.50. Fight me.
Anyways, it’s midnight, the hour where everyone turns into a fucking genius, so I thought I’d give it a go as some deep questions while I’m in my prime (I’m actually dead inside right now, but it’s chill). This is also somewhat inspired by my good ol’ pal indiesonglyrics who answered some deep questions while she was awake and sane- how nice that could’ve been, oh well. She’s a chill b, so go hit her up.
Let’s get to these deep “Philosophical” Questions, because I’m a philosopher now haven’t you heard? Nice to meet you A. Philosopher, I’m dad.
This is going to be a long night.
**Side note: I’m keeping this 100. I’m going to be as real as it gets up in here.
1. Is it worse to fail at something or never attempt it in the first place?
Depends. Is it love? Go for it, b. Is it an education? Yah, dude, might as well try. Is it hurting other people? No dude, let’s not and not say that we did, either. Is it suicide? Because let’s not attempt that. Cool? Cool.
2. If you could choose just one thing to change about the world, what would it be?
We all live happily ever after. Lol, this bish. Let’s cure cancer and make treatment free, how bout that?
3. To what extent do you shape your own destiny, and how much is down to fate?
I think everything happens for a reason and I think the butterfly affect is dope af, but I don’t think your fate is decided for you. I think you have the power to change your situation. It might not be drastic, but you can change just about anything. I don’t know why, but plastic surgery just popped up in my head. You can literally change anything about your physical appearance. Damn, technology nowadays, am I right?
4. Does nature shape our personalities more than nurture?
It’s all about that nurture. I learned this in an Intro to Psych class, basically children are Play-Doh, you mold them. I just thought if children were actually Play-Doh. My child would be green.
5. Should people care more about doing the right thing, or doing things right?
What the fuck. Let’s go with doing the right thing, because doing things right doesn’t really promise anything. You could commit a crime- wait, what is a ‘correct crime’ or a ‘right crime’. Is there such thing? Bish I’m confused as fuck, let’s move on.
6. What one piece of advice would you offer to a newborn infant?
Bish, you don’t understand me so what’s the point. Peace.
7. Where is the line between insanity and creativity?
I’m insane, you’re creative, deal? I like the quote that goes something like ‘insanity is trying the same thing over again and expecting different results’. In that case, I don’t think I’m insane, but the way I’m feeling right now- tired and loopy and nacho’s in my stomach- I’m out there.
8. What is true happiness?
That’s different for every person. It’s up to you to find out, so don’t look at me. I had this huge revelation in high school about happiness- I think it’s important for everyone to experience something like that. It kind of reinvented my happiness from my younger days; it’s been eye-opening.
9. What things hold you back from doing the things that you really want to?
Anxiety is a bitch. I tend to push myself, as if I’m telling anxiety to go f itself. It helps to be out of high school. High school just held me back, to be honest. It was like a prison- constantly around the same people you’ve grown to hate, being treated as a child even when you’re legally an adult. High school is a bit fucked, if you ask me.
10. What makes you, you?
A lot of like-minded cells. I hope you’re the same way, otherwise it’s not looking too good for you.
11. What is the truth?
The opposite of a lie. The full truth is rarely known. There’s your truth, their truth, and the actual truth. The actual truth is hard to come by.
12. What is reality?
Fuck it- there is no reality, this is all a lie, life is a lie, death is a lie, we’re all here yet not here at all.
13. Do you make your own decisions, or let others make them for you?
I make my own decisions because I have a brain that sends electric signals throughout my body to do things that I intend for it to do. Crazy. It’s almost as if I’m like every other human. What the fuck is this question.
14. What makes a good friend?
Someone I can trust unconditionally, someone who makes me laugh, someone who has a personality that’s not cookie cutter, someone who cares, someone who is open-minded, someone who has some ambition, someone who has nice parents who raised them right, someone who isn’t always on your case or make you feel like shit.
15. Why do people fear losing things that they do not even have yet?
Because people are stupid. Done.
16. Who defines good and evil?
Webster, the writer of Webster’s dictionary, ya dingus.
17. What is the difference between living and being alive?
Technically, nothing. But whoever wrote this question wanted someone to say: being alive is having health and being able to breathe and function, while living means traveling the world, eating good food, seeing people you love– blah blah blah. (eye roll of a thousand suns)
18. Is a “wrong” act okay if nobody ever knows about it?
If you’re not okay either man up or fix it. If you can’t fix it yourself, get someone to help. Whatever you do, don’t be that bish who says ‘their fine’ when their not fine, because that’s dumb and a waste of everyone’s time and energy.
19. Who decides what morality is?
Why does morality have to be decided upon? Fuck you, question-writer.
20. How do you know that your experience of consciousness is the same as other people’s experience of consciousness?
This is something that trips me out constantly and the truth of the matter is no one fucking knows- so either trip out about it for the rest of eternity like ya girl, or don’t give a shit. It’s all good either way.
So that was great. Why did I decide to do this again? It’s late. I’m dead. Are you dead? If so, leave your funeral date in the comments.
